Cooking Spaghetti using just a single bowl

Cooking spaghetti can be a slight headache when it comes to cleanup. Therefore, I found a way to use make the washup just a single bowl.

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Microwave-safe bowl (most ceramic bowls will do - always verify before using. I’m not responsible if you blow up your kitchen)
  • Kettle (Optional - nice to have to cut down time)

Ingredients

  • 120g Spaghetti
  • 180g Bolognese sauce (or any of your choosing)
  • Clean water
  • (Optional) Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Boil some water.
  2. Put the spaghetti into the bowl (annoy the Italians if needed - a sacrifice for efficiency)
  3. Pour water over the spaghetti until it covers the top.
  4. Put the bowl into the microwave. Microwave for 6 minutes on 1000w.
  5. Take out the bowl. Drain the water. Add a little olive oil if you have it. Add in your sauce of choice and mix well.
  6. Put the bowl back into the microwave. Microwave for 2.5 minutes on 1000w.
  7. Add other toppings (i.e. cheese) and you’re done.
